cancellation policy

When you book an appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to other patients in need. We understand that your pet’s condition can change unexpectedly, so if you need to cancel or postpone, we respectfully request at least a 2-HOUR NOTICE by phone, text or email. If you need to cancel less than 2 hours before the appointment time or if we arrive to your home and mutually decide to postpone the euthanasia, we feel that $250 is fair compensation for our time.

If your pet has already passed

We are still able to help facilitate cremation by having a doctor visit your home, confirm that your pet has passed and collect your pet’s body for cremation with Animal Memorial Service.  The cost for this visit is $300 in addition to the cost of cremation.

Alternatively, you may take your pet’s body to any veterinary clinic or humane shelter, depending on what services they offer. You can also contact another service provider here as they might be able to collect the body directly from your home.

bites and rabies testing

If your pet bites or has bitten any person (puncturing the skin enough to bleed) less than 10 days prior to euthanization, we will be required to submit your pet’s body to your local county health department for rabies testing. This will incur an additional fee of $300 for complying with this legal requirement.
